Isn't sisterhood the sweetest?

Our time in the park with these cuties was full of all of the best little moments: hugs, kisses, candy necklaces, hand holding, skipping, and giggles that you just want to bottle up in a mason jar! All the moments that remind you how magical it is to be a little girl!

And we can't forget baby Branch! He was so relaxed!! Content to chill and take in the warmth of early October and the wonder of his sisters at play.

Where The Wild Things Are

Callum's 1st Birthday Portraits and Birthday Party Fun

Our sweet nephew, Callum, (affectionately nick-named Cal) turned one and had wild fun at his party themed after the children's book "Where The Wild Things Are!"

I dare you to try and convince Tyler and I that he's not cutest 1 year old ever. (You won't be able to!)

His crafty momma and daddy put together such a fun party full of extra special details! Kids are so funny though; because, the biggest "hit" and most fun thing for them seemed to be the balloons ready for play at their feet!

I hope you enjoy these captures of our smiley, curious, funny, laugh-y, sweetheart nephew as much as we do! He sure knows how to brighten our day!

Sweet Ryan's First Birthday

Isn't she just darling?! I've had the privilege of photographing sweet Ryan and her family for many stages of life, including her amazing entrance into this world! This little girl and her fantastic parents are always a delight to work with! I was so glad they brought their pup along this time, too! Stephanie and Colby are definitely champs in my book being that they agreed to this SUNRISE session! I'm so, so glad we decided to shoot at sunrise; because, the beautiful light was so worth it!

Happy First Birthday, Ryan! (And happy birthday, Steph!...Yeah, they share the same birthday. How neat is that?!)

Her Daddy Calls Her Harvey

Jordyn Harvest (also known as Harvey...according to her dad!) is all smiles and giggles! Her piercing blue eyes, fiery red hair, and drool-worthy rolls were so much fun to capture! Huge thanks to Katie and Chase (Jordyn's mom and dad) for doing who knows what behind me to get these genuine giggles from their sweet girl! What a wonderful blessing you are, baby girl!

Kendall, Konnor, and Little Ms. Bebe

If you don't know Kendall, you need to get to know her! She is such a rock star mom! We have had the privilege of getting to know Kendall, Derreck, and their sweet kids over the past couple of years, and they are some of the most hard working and supportive people we know. Her precious babies absolutely adore her, a quality that translated magically on camera! It was so heartwarming to watch Konner interact with his little sister, tickling and giggling in moments of pure innocence. I hope you have as much fun browsing through this back-to-school shoot as I did capturing it. Thank you, Kendall. We love you guys!

HALL(mark) Family Photos

Talk about a dream session! With soft light and perfectly coordinated outfits, the Hall's family photos could be in a picture frame sold at your local Hobby Lobby. Joe and Cari's three boys were so much fun to capture. Just call me an adventure photographer chasing their youngest little ham around as he entertained everyone. I must say though, Cari and Joe stole the show. Their love for each other translated so clearly, and just look at them...they're so beautiful together! Also, if you're looking for a killer hairstylist in West Texas, Cari is your girl!

We loved the opportunity to freeze time in their busy lives with these fun photos! Thank you, Hall family, for trusting us!
 

The Sweetest Surprise Proposal

Our friend, Evan, contacted us with an exciting idea to propose to his then girlfriend, Natalie. He could barely form sentences because he was bursting at the seams with pure love for this beautiful girl! We came up with a grand, extensive plan, and it all began with a phone call.

I called Evan while Natalie was with him to ask them to "model for my portfolio." They agreed, and so this first set of pictures is our modeling session...(all part of his big plan.) We began at the Lubbock Arboretum, and for honestly thinking this was a modeling session, Natalie knocked it out of the park!

He hugged her tight and wouldn't let go! I kept saying, "Oh, that's perfect. Stay right there! I've got to get the right shot!" As he held her, all of their family made the trek from behind a nearby building and gathered behind her. They were as quiet as possible, so she had no idea! Then, at just the right time, Evan dropped down to one knee. She immediately realized what was happening and quickly responded with a "YES!" Sweet tears and hugs galore followed as everyone celebrated the newly engaged couple!

Natalie and Evan, it was truly an honor to be a part of this wonderful day. You two are very special, and we're so excited for this next chapter of your lives. Tyler and I are thrilled to photograph and video your upcoming wedding!

Wesson - Party of Three

Earlier this summer we did a giveaway, and this sweet family won! Kallie and Craig along with the newest edition to their family, miss Jolene, were so much fun to work with! Jolene slept for most of the session which gave momma and daddy some time to interact in front of my camera. These two were naturals! Kallie's sweet smile and laugh is totally infectious and you don't doubt for a second how much Craig loves her when you see them looking into each other's eyes!

Jermaine's New Borns

Precious Jermaine was such a joy to photograph! He was wide awake for most of the session, so alert and strong for such a new little guy! His sweet grandparents and aunt prepared several fun things to add into the photographs. There was no doubt that they really loved and cared for this miracle baby!

Even though it was wildly hot outside, and I happened to be wearing mostly black (fail), we had so much fun together! I'm sure Jermaine just loved us re-positioning him every 30 seconds. Haha! They're only this little and new once, though, so I'm so glad they trusted me to capture this season!

Collette and Sean's Romantic Italian Wedding

We had the opportunity to capture Collette and Sean's beautiful, Tuscan themed wedding at Casa Bella in Andrews, Texas. The moment I spoke to Collette on the phone, I knew she'd be a dream bride. She was so incredibly kind and spoke from a truly grateful heart. I was so excited they chose to trust me as their wedding photographer!

Their June wedding was filled to the brim with thoughtful details and personal touches! Collette hand-dyed and creatively put together her granddaughter, Kate's, one-of-a-kind flower girl dress. Sean and Collette also made mix tapes for each other, and handed out a copy of each to their guests as wedding favors. It was clear that family and friends were important to them. Their family style dinner allowed for everyone to gather around one long, stunning table and break bread. I loved watching their loved ones share in this monumental day with them!

Joe's Italian Restaurant served one of the best Italian meals I've had, and Sean and Collette offered wedding cake and a cheesecake bar for dessert! How fun! Right? Their sweet day ended with laughter and smiles surrounding them as they danced in each other's arms under the stars.
